I've always liked this album since it came out a decade ago. Just about the same time that I started buying sacd's. And as Ive mentioned many times before we newbies got the short end of the stick in supporting this new digital technology. By that I mean the many times we were getting ripped off as the supposedly new transfer was nothing more than a regular cd layer and not a Dsd remastering. This disc is one such example.

The original stereo layer of the first sacd was lightweight compared to this new tape to dsd mastering. The sound is warm, meaty and well defined. There is a world of difference between the two. Jones voice is well defined and captured between the speakers very well. Instruments are solid and lifelike. Its all good on this new sacd and mastered very good by Analogue Productions.

AS FOR THE MUSIC IT IS VERY LAID BACK AND ROMANTIC.....EXTREMELY MELLOW IF YOU LIKE THAT SORT OF THING.
I find most of the disc to be highly enjoyable and Miss Jones's voice is sultry and expressive.

Highly recommended.

This new sacd carries over the original multi-channel layer as well.

Norah Jones – Come Away With Me AP SACD
The review is based on two channels only. Let’s start with Absolutely Stunning!! This is a very engrossing disk. Most should be familiar with the Music; the sound was very good on the Redbook CD. I never got a chance to hear the Blue Note SACD release however we have all heard the rumors. Analogue Production’s has converted from the Original Analogue Master Tapes and this transfer is everything an Analogue tape to DSD conversion should be. Keep in mind this Album is a very modern Analogue Recording. The instruments are well placed. Nora’s voice is so musical. The Voice is conveyed in its laid back manner just as it was intended. (In the ROOM applies to the quality of this recording) The album as a whole goes right to your sole. In my belief this is what we desire with SACD disks. This is why I buy them.
