Finally, a very powerful and dynamic recording of this wonderful Queen album. First EMI edition was really rubbish, with a very poor sound. Now with SACD technology and the work of Bob Ludwig from the original tapes, we can hear Innuendo as was originally intended. Powerful and energic. Drums are very strong and Freddie's voice sounds so clear as never before. Only in other 14 SACD published you can find this sound quality. The price is very high, but a fan with the correct Hi-fi hardware cannot miss these SHM-SACD reisuues of Queen Discography.

Innuendo was a great final farewell for Freddy-era Queen and an album that I loved and still do since the day I first heard it! I remember thinking that this was close to the sound and approach of old Queen and they had returned to their old ways! Looking back Innuendo still ranks as one of my favourite Queen albums.

I was never happy with the RBCD version and always wanted to hear a proper mix and now thanks to the Japan SACD we can all enjoy this little treasure. This SACD is rich in texture and carries a full bodied sound throughout with great vocal and instrument seperation. The imaging on this SACD is far sharper and cleaner than my original RBCD with a much wider sound quality and depth.

Bob Ludwig's 2011 masters were used to create the SACD which were "meticulously re-created using the finest modern analogue and digital technology from the original first generation master mixes".

this is the only way to listen to Innuendo!
