Guano Apes, another rock group that is very popular in Germany, unleash an interesting failure with "Don't Give Me Names". They flirt in the whole rap-metal genre but are more of a updated punk band.
Sonically, this disc is average. Some nice seperation and good bass. The multi-channel mix is suprising in that it is not as aggressive as you would think. Vocals are all in the front and there is some nice detail here. I would actually give it a 3.5.
As for the music, the highlight is a very loud remake of the Alphaville song "Big In Japan". Sounding nothing like the original, this is the reason to hunt this disc down. "Living A Lie" and "Gogan" are also nice tracks. But this album does get repetitive. Decent disc but there are better out there.
