What a wonderful SACD! The all works on the disc are very interesting. Lehtola's colorful and analytic view is something very special. The most interesting works are from the hand of Jean Sibelius. The opening "Intrada", Op. 111a - and later the sorrowful "Funeral March", Op. 111b - contains perhaps themes and motifs from the lost Symphony No. 8: Sibelius composed these miniatures at the time of the writing process. The 5.1 surround sound is warm and wide here: the deep sound of the pedals are captured perfectly. Wonderful addition to the "Historical Organs and Composers". Highly recommended!
