Performance:   Sonics:
Muddy & Buddy together - what more is needed to say. This is one of the best, if not the best accoustic blues albums, ever, period! The blues, and the music on this album, are timeless! It is as fresh today as ever.

Analog Productions have done it again. This album plus John Lee Hooker's "Serve You Right To Suffer" and Junior Wells' "Hoodoo Man Blues" are great blues albums and have the sound quality to go with them. "Folk Singer" has an analog feel to it. It is smooth and very detailed. Close your eyes, Muddy and the band are in the room with you. You can smell the cigarette smoke and stale beer!

I have the MoFi Gold CD which in it's self is a good reproduction but this SACD beats it hands down.

It would be great if AP could do the SACD treatment on Buddy Guy and Junior Wells - Alone and Accoustic, another favorite accoustic blues album of mine.
