An improvement over the CD, but only marginally! The follow up to TOTO's monster debut album, this is one of the more "special" TOTO albums, more progressive, less pop. It spawned one of TOTO's best hits , "99", a true TOTO classic.
Recorded in the early 80's this is one of those 80's albums that does not seem to benefit too much from SACD's higher resolution and appears just to have been put through some kind of "quick" DSD process, without too much care, but nevertheless an improvement from the CD, in picking some more fine details.
