| I find this a mixed bag. I have trouble listening to some of the "hip hop"/rap songs. It's not my cup of tea even though they are very well recorded. But her biggest hits are here and sound marvelous. In addition, the sonics vary. Some are excellent, while others are OK. None are bad. Some of the cuts on this SACD rate double 5's for performance and sonics.

| Excellent sound! Mariah has never sounded better. All songs are of the highest quality-my personal favorite My All. My All sounds absolutely awesome and has awesome bass. You can hear the extended range. Definitely a must for any Mariah Carey listener. Its an an awesome experience to visit all her hits in SACD.

| This stereo SACD sounds very good. There are finer details that I hear better than the CD version. Mariah's vocals are sweet and smooth. Worth buying for the music content and sound quality, I just wish it was in multichannel.

I was really quite surprised and impressed with this sacd. I can tell you without a doubt that in the early days of sacd certain Company;s released a lot of stinkers that had no business being released and called sacd's. They basically lied to us and stole our money. And then they have the nerve to wonder why we down load.
But this Mariah Carey sacd is quite an exception. It's actually a terrifc compliation of her number 1 hits and there are a lot of them. This sacd has warmth, very good impact, deep powerful bass and a thickness to the sound that shocked me greatly. There is a very strong presence to this music and Her voice is rendered very, very impresssively too.
My only complaint (a little one) and the reason for the lower overall score is that not every song on this sacd sounds great. Some of them seem to be less impressive and lower resolution than the others. But don;t let this detract you from buying this sacd. Most of the album sounds fantastic.
And if you like Mariah and are a fan of hers or if you want to take a chance this purchase is a no brainer. I can assure you 100% you've never heard her sound like this on regular cd.
Highly recommended.
