So, I just received the Well Tempered Klavier 4-SACD I inquired about in my first mail in the forum and, what can I say? It is absolute HEAVEN!!! I have and savored for many years the first and only CD release of this absolute top recording of these masterpieces (1987, 2x2CD sets). Conclusion: this new DSD remastering from the original analogue tapes and the SACD medium is 1000 times better. I have never ever had such a large difference between red book and SACD.

Warm ,clear, convenient harpischord - one of the most tough instrument to capture without being as a sewing machine. The 1987 CD is dirty, sterile, digital. The SACDs are amazing. Do not miss them. Grab them while you can at reasonable price. I got mine from CD japan and the Goldberg are on their way as well!
