There is not much genre variety in SACD recordings so it is always pleasure to find a SACD representing a new genre. Helium Vola is a German band representing pop-music music genre called Darkwave; a mix of electronica with with mediaval inspirations. Liod is their second album and as expected dark, eclectic, full of synthesized sounds and beautiful voices. It fits very well with Propaganda and Art of Noise SACD productions and will add some contemporary flavor to any SACD collection.
