I can add little to the existing review: this is an excellent SACD of some unduly neglected works, superbly played and recorded - of particular pleasure to me, as a former cellist, albeit very much an amateur one.
Rademakers produces a glorious tone, comparable only to Wispelwey in my experience, and is expertly partnered by Matthijs Verschoor, and this pair are very much a duo of equals.
Both works were composed around the same time and inhabit a similar sound-world, Bosmans to me sounding perhaps a little more bittersweet.
Sonically this SACD is very fine - I listened via a Stax earspeaker system and found the sound very realistic within a pleasing acoustic. Both instruments are well caught though I agree the sound is very vivid owing to quite close microphone placement.
