Reviews: An Organ Treasure - Andreas Götz

I enjoyed this, too. The church is extremely reverberant--a good 8-9 seconds, but it doesn't muddy the textures. I was disappointed to see that the organ has only 16' pipes, not 32', but the bass is very well defined, even if it doesn't separate your house from its foundation! I sense a slight sameness in the registrations, but perhaps that organ doesn't provide a huge array of colors. All in all, though, an excellent recording.

Edit: I thought I was adding on to a previous review!
