W. Boulware p, R. Bona eb, B. Kilson ds, E. Alexander ts, Eighty-Eights 2006.
Five of the nine tunes are Boulware originals played by the trio, Summertime is a very beautiful solo piano track and on On Green Dolphin Street, Moment`s Notice and E.S.P. Alexander joins. The band is playing contemporary jazz of highest standard, energetic, sophisticated and with deep emotion, each one perfect on his instrument. The delighting interplay and soloing is capturing you from the beginning and keeps you listening seriously.
The sound is very good, rich of colour, very good soundstage and imaging, air for the instruments to breath, very dynamic, brilliant.
