Performance: Sonics:
The CD has the right title. It is real "The Sonic Temple". It's one of the best recording from sound perspectives I had ever heard. Highly recommended for the "stereophiles" with good SACD playback. You will feel at heaven even jazz-rock is not your cup of tea.
Picked this up used without an idea what to expect. It was inexpensive and I knew Granelli. What wonderful couple of live identical sets recorded back to back on two consecutive nights. It is unique to hear the musicians bring a different feel to each number ever so slightly altering this wonderful and interesting jazz from one night to the next. Personally I love tracks 4 and 6.The `It`s a Man`s World` cover is excellent. The sonics are suberb and a very good live recording. Highly recommended.Currently in heavy rotation.
