Interesting new classical repertoire - previously unknown composer to me - and not bad at all. The piano concerto is for me too much a virtuoso piece at the cost of musical structure. There simply too much stuff in there. The symphony is charming, very enjoyable. Anyway, I do not think the form and character of the music is not intended to be "larger than life" - rather it conveys an intimate and cozy feeling.

In terms of the recording the acoustics is not as vivid as one might expect from multi-channel recording - maybe a bit on the flat side? Front channels very much dominate.
