This is a fine performance in good sound. There is a slight problem, however, as the recording is 4.0, not 5.0 as Glossa originally stated on their website. It also says on the disc cover that the recording is 5.0. It is not. I have had Glossa confirm that the recording is indeed 4.0 (but not before I sent a perfectly decent copy back as defective!). Unlike the other reviewer, however, I do find the lack of the center channel a problem. I think - especially since the rear channels are quite prominent - that this gives the recording an odd perspective. The choir to me sounds as it it has a hole in it. Its a shame, as I can't see any reason in the world why the 5.0 version would not have been superior in every way. It also has to be turned up quite a bit to get any real sense of the space. Again, this would have been better in 5.0. Why did they do this? Who knows!
