| Sonics on this album are very impressive. A great showcase disc when you've got some friends over and you want to impress them. A somewhat strange collection of tracks, but most of them are quiet good.

| I agree with the person below. The recording is very good, but the song selection is quite strange. If you want to buy it test your SACD equipement then fine, otherwise you might want to spend your money on something that you like and would enjoy listening to it. I listened to it only twice before selling it off.

I agree that the mix of music here is diverse and I love it; I always thought that's what sample meant. A taste of what you have to offer and in that respect this ablum excels.
From the opening selection it is a showcase of what the Channel Classic guys can do. This is sonic Heaven on a disc. The diversity does not upset me in the least especially since the clarity, soundstaging and dynamics are second to none. This is DSD done right. I mean the level of ambiance fed to the rears are perfect and few labels seem to get (what seems simple to me)this part right. The texture is smooth and velvety without any perceptable roll off on the top. I am talking better than analog, hands down. I can listen to this CD all day.
The downside to CDs like this one is that after a few listening sessions with great sounding SACDs my collection of standard Redbook software sounds really horrible.

| It sound luxurius, it sound really full detailed, analog superb resolutinon. If you would like to enjoy the excellent performers of baroque music at home like "live" concert, just get this label recordings (recorded with dCS converters) and get a sacd player by marantz, philips or sony manufacters and I promise you that you really will "feel" the music. Top recomendation.
