Anthony Beaumont, the conductor of this recording, is fats becoming one of the specialists of this repertoire. And the results show. Weill´s music is not so easy to digest, and needs not only impeccable musicanship but also a very alert baton. In Beaumont and his Orchestra we get these requisites in spades.
The sound is very clear and spacious, the timbre of the various instruments blend ideally.
Very highly recomended.
