This is the first 88's release for the Don Friedman Trio. How appropo to debut with a disc titled after the Bill Evans classic tune. If you enjoy the old Bill Evans first trio and the Keith Jarrett Standards Trio, you should enjoy this. The music here falls somewhere in between, and somewhat on the polite side.
The sound is sacd at it's finest.
The disc is single layer. The newer 88's releases are hybrids.
A keeper.
