Reviews: Ravel: Bolero, Bizet: Carmen Suite - Semyon Bychkov

Sonics:
A nice job of remastering a multi-track recording (24bit/48khz) by the Emil Berliner Studio using AMSI II process, the surround space is well defined, the clarity is not at the level of modern direct-to-DSD but still very good, the orchestra close but not too close, and it is played with force or softly where required. I won't comment on the absolute performance, due to lack of experience, but I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Note: CD or SACD surround only, no SACD stereo, 76:56 min.
