Review by Shufflesphere August 11, 2010
Performance:   Sonics:
I must admit, I simply bought this SACD because it was cheap. And cheap it is. The music is some kind of new-ageish-fusion-jazz sounding like all "instruments" are synthesizers and drum computers. Some of the sound effects really sound cheap. I found only one track with a character of it's own "Jaipur Express". The remainder of the album sounds somewhat familiar and like a cheap copy of Vangelis or Vollenweider.

The multichannel sonics are unspectacular and limited to ambient sound. The rear channels are not used for effects or to play distinguishable instruments.

Overall the album sounds flat and boring, so I didn't listen to the stereo version.
