This disc is a great positive surprise. I had never heard of this trio before, but found some audioclips on the net to check-out the music before buying. Leslie Pintchik is a very competent composer and jazz-pianist. The trio plays with depth and variation. Definitely one of my favorite discs from a musical point of view. Sound it excellent too and may be among the most natural I have ever heard. Listened to in both stereo and multichannel, and as usual multichannel is more detailed, has more precise soundstage and seems to have an extended frequency range - especially towards the low end. The multichannel mix is just right, using all three front-speakers evenly and making the use of rear-channels optional. My highest recommendations...

This sacd is a real winner for the enjoyment factor and quality music and recording.
I am always trying to discover new music and talent and Leslie Pintchik was new to me as was the Ambient recording label. I now own 5 sacd's from this label and they are all wonderful recordings with terrific musical quality.

This album features several different types of emotional content. There is the laid back relaxing songs, the more energetic playful few and some introspective cuts as well. The three musicians play together very well and the music takes you in and keeps you there.

The recording is fabulous and the sound is very realistic, warm and alive. Just increase the volume a little and you will sense the tonal colours, shadings and feelings the musicians are after. The drumming is rather busy but very lush and expressive....rendered beautifully is this pure dsd recording. The piano sings and the bass anchors the proceedings accordingly.

The entire album is very enjoyable from start to finish and the recording is top notch. The price is very right as well....15 bucks.

This is great night time jazz to relax to and sip some wine either alone or with friends.

Highly recommended.
