Misty is my favorite Jazz piece, and Tsuyoshi Yamamoto is my favorite Jazz pianist. I bought this SACD just for track #1 - Misty. All other tracks in this disc are bonus for me, and I enjoyed them.
In terms of sonic performance, as with all FIM SACDs, the recording is superb. Very good soundstage and imaging, piano sounds as real as it can get. Close your eyes and you will think Tsuyoshi is playing in front of you.
Highly recommended.

| This is an excellent jazz recording, strong artistically as well as sonically. Nothing in this recording will give you a clue as to the actual vintage of the recording, This is simply an excellent jazz album, a must have if you appreciate this musical genre.

This is simply one of the best jazz recordings of all time, a classic which deserves to be in the shelves of any audiophile.
Instruments, presence, dynamics, soundstage all is 5 stars in this album.
Play it and be invited to a relaxing jazz concert with Yamamoto in your living room!
