Too few French artists are now available on SACD format. It's a shame if you consider the treasures that have been produced (Jean-Jacques Goldman, Patrick Bruel, Pascal Obispo, Maurane, etc.) Calogero, a very gifted French Italian major artist, has progressively become the new reference in terms of vocals, melodies and lyrics. This album, the only one available in multi-channel sound, definitely belongs to his top 2. Lucky choice. Re-Discover his rock ballads (with a variety of instruments), his great sensibility, and even more powerful tracks like Face à la mer (duet with a great rapper). The sonics are very interesting, well-balanced, which magnify his talents. This bass player has a great sense for rhythm and you'll never get bored through this album. A good sample of French pop culture, with great acoustic moments too.
