The project "Ambra" has been found especially for doing 6-channel-surround meditative music. This is their first album that originally was released on a DVD-Video disc with fantastic movies and pictures from nature. Now it's available as sound-only disc on SACD; and referring to be a hybrid disc, it's the first time to hear it as a normal CD in your car on your way home from work if you are stressed. *g*
But meant to be heard in Surround-sound, this disc shows what SACD is able to. The music is not just filling the room with a fantastic spheric sound, it really "plays" with all your speakers. The music is absolutley clear and flows into the room. Fantastic.
Sadly it is not the kind of music I do hear very often. But if you like Drum'n Bass and Trance, you will be very happy with it. Perhaps this album is the best demo-disc to show what your surround-system can do. Much better than any movie in dts.
