This is a very good disc, although at 44 minutes, it is rather short.
The works contained are a selection of the existing literature of Russian Orthodox Music, and quite a good selection at that. Tenor Nicolai Gedda sings with great verve and musicality in 3 or 4 of the tracks of the disc.
The sound is very fine, giving a detailed and athmospheric sound of this "a capella" choir.
