Performance: Sonics: |
This sampler contains a nice collection of music, from a range of different jazz artist and jazz styles. Sound quality differs from track to track but overall quality is of a high standard. The same can be said of the performances on this album. Off course I have my favorites tracks on this album but I tend to play the whole disc every time. I feel this sampler is a good introduction into the back catalogue of Concord and I am sure there’s something on here for everyone. And since the sampler is also very cheap there is no reason not to buy it if you like jazz. This one comes recommended.

Extraordinary disc sample, the sound is incredible therefore as the division of the channels.
The tracks are good but ideal above all to listen in back-ground.

I agree with the good things written about the disc. One of my favorite tracks is Straighten Up and Fly Right. I love the way it starts with an old, scratchy, tinny version and then breaks into the newer version and just plain makes me happy. Watermelon Man is another favorite and there is really not much on this one that I don't like. Enjoy.
