Reviews: Blof: Omarm

Blof is a great band, they make fantastic songs and this album is filled with some of the best they ever recorded. The only bad thing about this album is the fact no one outside of The Netherlands and Belgium will be likely to buy it because it's all in Dutch.
To bad really, because it's a nice package, the SACD is a hybrid and comes with a free DVD which includes a concert they played in Paradiso in Amsterdam. And the DVD also includes the whole album in stereo, AC3 and DTS, the video for the single version of Omarm and the making of the video.

One of the most popular Dutch groups at this moment. Outside the Netherlands well know by the song Holiday in Spain with the Counting Crows.
Omarm (wrapped arms) is the latest studio album of Blof. It contains beautiful ballads and up-tempo popsongs all in Dutch lanquage. I must say that the ballads sounds better. The up-tempo tracks sounds a little bit to shrill.
One of the best selling Dutch albums of the past year.

The music is wonderfull but the mc-mix is overdone! back in the 70's music was played left and right of you and now, 30 years later it's played in front and behind of you. No the mc-mix isn't worth it, the music and perforamce on the other hand are!
