Reviews: No Angels: When the Angels Swing

Performance:   Sonics:
No Angles is a German Pop group that combines Girl Power with Swing type music. Although that combo may sound strange, I found this disc to be a surprisingly fun experience. It is the kind of music that can make a dreary day more fun.

In multi-channel, this disc provides a very enjoyable soundstage. Lyrics do come primarily from the center. The rears are mostly used for ambience. Although there are several tracks, like "River of Joy" and 'Anchor your Love" that use them effectively and agressively. Most of the material here has religious meaning but overall this is a disc that grows on you.
