With support of excellent POP -and Jazzmusicians like Michael Brecker, Roy Hargrove, Ry Cooder or Linda Ronstadt recorded Aaron Neville velvety bubbling versions of George Gershwins "Summertime", Cole Porters "In The Still Of The Night" or Arthur Hamiltons "Cry Me A River". Very smooth played Jazz-Standards. If you like the voice of Aaron Neville you will love this album. Excellent stereo sound.

Smooth sound, solid arrangements, good supporting personnel. The BEST part of this album is that Neville does not over-sing the tunes. He can be over-styled at times - OK a LOT of the time. Here he strikes a good balance of adding his own singular stylistics to classic tunes. He adds enough distinctive touches and trademark embellishments to add interest but refrains from encrusting the pieces with the distracting.
