Performance: Sonics:
The Fifth solo release by Bryan Ferry marked the production style change. While its predecessor suffers from Bowie-like production this one sounds still afresh after all those years.
The recrod has been made at the time of the Roxy Music interim between Siren and Manifesto albums.
Ferry penned 4 of the 10 tracks and one arrangement of the traditional Carrickfergus which also made A-side of the single from the album.
Followed by three exceptional albums by Roxy Music (Manifesto/Flesh+Blood/Avalon) Bryan Ferry proved himself as an artist who also brushed off glam-rock clichés and a strong songwriter as well.
