Performance:
An Aquired taste.
Loud, loud, loud - a very quiet track !
The capture of the beast - a jokey song.
Infinity - a female making orgasm sounds for 5 mins (honestly).
I wouldn't buy without listening first.

Sublime.
performance:
I always thought of this album as sort of pop music with attitude.
It's certainly done with a certain amount of good humour.
I mean songs like "You've got a cold" can't be taken too seriously, but are done to perfection.
Actually there's some fairly heavy guitar.

I went straight to the 5.1 DTS-HD MA. (Sorry, I haven't listened to the other mixes)
This has never been my favourite Yes album, as I always found it a bit 'tangled up' and muddled.
Not any more. Steve Wilson has miraculously un-tangled it !
STUNNING is the word.

It's going to be difficult to not go on about just how fabulous this dics is.
Freddie's voice - it's staggering. Like he's in the room. You can feel the emotion.
I'm talking hairs on the back of the neck standing up.
The harp is just divine.
When it's finished, I am at a loss to find anything else ... more |

My first impression of this was "Where has all the treble gone?".
All the previous releases of this I've ever heard have had a really 'fizzy' top end.
Don't panic. As the music moves along and gets more involved there is actually plenty of treble, it's just not over done. This really help the ... more |
