Never owned the original CD's. However comparing the individual tracks from various original CD's , they sound much improved. While I've never been a great fan of greatest hits compilations, this is a very good set. Sonically much improved. |

Quite possibly the best SACD I own. Unbelievable improvement over my original 80's CD. It almost feels like a very intimate performance. Feels like I'm in the recording studio. Highly recommended. |

Great improvement over original CD from the 80's. Every track is a great improvement. This is what Quadrophenia is suppose to sound like! |

Much better than the original red book. Still can get water from a stone. Clapton's leads sound a bit thin.Gingers drums much improved. |
