The title was out on DVD-A for over 6 months before the SACD release (still a relief that its out on SACD)... I got it as soon as I could cos I hated the DTS edition. DTS music just sounded so bad! I bought the album out of curiosity, and was an 'amazing' surprise! Extremely well mastered SACD for a recording in the 70s... not to mention nicely done in multichannel format... I can't agree any more than what has already been written abt it! |

A very pleasant wait for this release (not to mention an added bonus of having the SACD released at the same time as redbook version). A very welcoming 'fresh air' to the jazz scene. Enjoyable interpretations of the standards and recent pop classics like 'High & Dry' & 'Frontin'' by Cullum.
