This is unfortunately nothing more than a curiosity - for the same reason we don't have any Peking opera translated into English (or German), 'Das Lied' should have been left as it is language-wise. The only thing missing here is any information about the recording. It sounds dangerously close to pure DSD, but even if it’s 96 kHz it’s one of the best I’ve ever heard. The second SACD from LPO is even better than the first one (Shostakovich). There are much less non musical noises and, appropriately, Jarowski produces a completely different orchestral texture than Masur.
