when i listened to this disc for the first time i sayd "what is this? this sounds like cr@p!".
it didn't sound like modern good sounding CD.
neither it sounded as 40 years old.
there was an impression that mic's were pushed too close to John's mouth and his guitar.

i don't have a 5.1ch setup for SACD so i'm talking 2ch SACD only.
sounds OK.
i don't feel that difference is significant comparing to old CD copy that i have.
bonus tracks are great.
bonus DVD is nice but kind of "one watch only" type.
for me as EJ lover it's very nice disc. |

mostly blues oriented.

i like this album.
songs are nice and relaxing. even my wife likes it.
i know that it sounds boring and stupid to a lot of people, still a lot of people do like it.
recording is very very good and SACD sounds better than RBCD. |

this is a classic disk.
sound - big disapointment.
it's too metalic, harsh and bright. cymbals are emphasizes a lot.
this disk doesn't provide that "analog" feeling at all.
i guess, you better stick with XRCD or look for original vunyl. |
