Laura Nyro was an unknown to me, like so many discs I bought since I got my SACD player this was my first introduction to an artist.
And what an introduction it is. This is a very impressive album, great songs, great singing, and great musicianship.

I already reviewed the Love Box SACD from Groove Armada. And everything I wrote there could apply here. This is a great dance or party record. Sonics aren’t spectacular but are pretty good. This album is a great example for it genre, European dance with a bit off everything thrown into the mix. |

When I bought this album I had no idea the original recording was made in 1982 on a digital 2 track recorder. I freaked a bit when I opened up the box and read it. “What a waste of money” was my first the first thing that came into my mind.
