Sonically, this is reference quality. It's clean, dynamic, and full.
I also find the performance interesting. I don't get bored listening to the entire SACD. With some other Jazz SACDs, I have trouble listening to the entire SACD in one sitting. |

I like this SACD. It's a well recorded, live performance. It's not reference material, but its better than most SACDs.
The performance is also above average. Denver sings most of his hits, and he does it very well. No surprises here.
Also, with 16 cuts, there's a lot of music for the money. |

I'm a baby boomer rocker. I like the Rolling Stones, Dylan, Police, BloodSweat&Tears, and Pink Floyd. Some country is OK. Several years ago I bought a Shania Twain CD for my wife, and I liked it, so I had to buy this SACD.

The music sounds like "soft 1960's pop", and at times, I'm in the mood for this kind of music. There's nothing wrong with the performance, but for me, this is best played as background music while reading a magazine, rather than something you just listen. I like this. It's smooth and gentle. Nothing creative or innovative, but its easy on my ears. |
