I have had this SACD for over a year and have been able to audition it on a number of systems, including my new reference quality system, and I have to say that the soundstage sounds somewhat distant and narrow, and overall, the sonics are not spectacular. Sonics on this album are good, but not superb. THe style of music is great for relaxation and contemplation, but has a repetative theme. The style is very unique. Still, this album provides music for those rare moods where few other albums can. I recommend it as a unique addition to your collection. ... more |

Having a modified Sony DVP-S9000ES SACD Transport, I was only able to review this album in the stereo mode.
