There's some mix-up in the previous review, which is important to correct.

The enthusiasm shown in the title and style of the cover is well justified. The danger is that some may be put off by an impression of gimmicky contents.

Big mistake! I assumed that a (presumably) younger group like this would be aware of basic HIP principles on the use of vibrato in Beethoven.
After all, these days most full symphony orchestras shed players for the symphonies, and more and more Beethoven symphony performances are by chamber ... more |
