While the multichannel mix is excellent (the artists are all around you), I am a little dissapointed with the music content itself. Excellent recording, the music is imaginative and quite unlike any other. There are tracks which take you into a trance, and others which bring you back with power, and all with finesse. I can't compare to other recordings of these Debussy compositions, but this seems to be a fantastic performance. ... more |

Fabulous! Great surround recording, well articulated guitars, occasional saxophone or violin, various percussion instruments throughout, very rythmic latin music.
This album deserves its nomination for a surround music award. |

This is a groovy jazz album, nice demonstration of the added value of surround mixing when it's well done. Everyone will find some songs enjoyable, this album is "alive". Recommended. |

Be prepared to be surprised, clever lyrics and sometimes strange use of her voice in a wide variety of songs. Some are great, others not so.
