Well, by now, we've all heard the old cliche, "It sounds like he's really in the room when I listen to this SACD!" And for this release, it's true. Truthfully, I'm not the world's biggest classical music fan. But I do love most of the works of RVW, Sibelius, Nielsen, Stravinsky, and Beethoven. Well, it's up for a Grammy this year in the Best Surround Recording category (even though I bought it in 2003), so that should give you some kind of idea of the quality of this SACD. There's a reason why many people consider this the greatest jazz album ever made. Look at the lineup for cryin' out loud!: Miles, Coltrane, Evans, Cannonball Adderley, Paul Chambers, Jimmy Cobb, and Wynton Kelly. My favorite "avant-garde" jazz artist, and the only SACD release of any of his solo releases. WHY hasn't "Out To Lunch" been given a multi-channel SACD release?!?!?
